Ana Liffey is expanding its Law Engagement & Assisted Recovery (LEAR) programme to Smithfield and Broadstone area in Dublin 7.
Funded by the Department of Justice Community Safety Innovation Fund 2023, the LEAR programme will provide low threshold case management in partnership with An Garda Siochána to those affected by substance use, criminality and other complex issues in Smithfield /Broadstone areas.
The aim of LEAR is to support people who have complex and multiple needs such as addiction, criminality, homelessness and mental health to engage effectively with support services, often for the first time, and to identify and achieve their goals. A key focus of the project is supporting people to move away from criminality and antisocial behaviour and towards their personal recovery.
The Dublin based LEAR team comprises of a Team Leader and eight project workers who work across Dublin 8, Dublin 2, Dublin 1 and the NEIC. The team now seeks to recruit project workers to focus on the Broadstone /Smithfield area in partnership with Bridewell Garda Station.
Suitable candidates will have experience in working with people who use drugs and be highly motivated to work with complex cases.
35 hours per week organised between 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday.
€37,382 for full time role.
