Ana Liffey Drug Project is looking for a skilled and compassionate leader to become our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a chance to make a real difference by guiding Ireland’s leading low-threshold, harm reduction organisation into its next chapter.
About Ana Liffey Drug Project Founded in 1982, Ana Liffey supports thousands of people every year. We provide accessible, non-judgemental services to people who use drugs, particularly those facing challenges such as problematic drug use, homelessness and mental health issues. Our focus is on dignity, respect, and pragmatic support!
We are a team of 79 dedicated professionals working across Dublin and the Midwest Region of Ireland, committed to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
The Role As CEO, you’ll ensure Ana Liffey continues to deliver high-quality services and advocate for people who use drugs. You’ll also drive key partnerships and lead our wonderful team.
• Leadership: Lead the organisation to achieve its goals in line with our Strategic Plan and manage the senior leadership team.
• Advocacy: Speak up for harm reduction and influence drug policy.
• Partnerships: Build strong relationships with funders, policymakers, and community groups.
• Governance: Work with the board to ensure the organisation is effective and sustainable.
• Has experience in public health, social care, or a related field.
• Understands low-threshold, harm reduction approaches.
• Can think strategically and manage operations effectively.
• Is skilled in building partnerships and advocating for change.
