August 30, 2021
To mark International Overdose Awareness Day 31st August 2021 we have gathered together insights of administering Naloxone from staff and service users of Ana Liffey Drug Project.
“I used naloxone in a hostel setting. I came across a friend overdosing, I got my naloxone out and used it on my friend. My friend came around after a couple of minutes. Naloxone is a life saver, I felt very proud of myself, everybody should have Naloxone” Damo, Ana Liffey Drug Project Service User.
