WATCH: Ana Liffey’s CEO addresses the Citizens Assembly on Drugs Use

On Saturday 24th June 2023 Tony Duffin, CEO of Ana Liffey Drug Project presented to the Citizens Assembly on Drugs Use. The subject of the presentation was ‘Low-threshold services for people with complex needs‘ and Tony explained about Ana Liffey’s Low-threshold work and the types of services provided by Ana Liffey.
Reflecting on presenting to the Citizens Assembly on Drugs Use, Tony Duffin said,
“It was an honour to represent Ana Liffey at the Citizens Assembly on Drugs Use. The Citizens Assembly is an important forum – it’s future recommendations on drug policy in Ireland have the potential to reduce drug related harm and save lives.”
Duffin continued,
“The members of the Citizens Assembly are very engaged in their work. Time will tell what their final recommendations will be, but I left the Citizens Assembly feeling curious and hopeful as to what will come out of their deliberations when they finish their work in October.”
